these are the guiding principles Fluency uses to grow leaders and teams
Coach Approach
Learning happens through real-play, not role-play. As an ICF certified coach, I focus on inquiry and prompting discussion, making my programming adaptive and agile. I operate under the assumption that participants are fully capable of personal development and can leverage their existing knowledge and experience. Lectures are kept light because I believe real learning happens through demonstrations, discussion, and practice.
Integrated not Isolated
One learning session won’t shift behavior or make change stick. Learning needs to go beyond the session and into the workplace to be effective and valuable. My integrated approach extends learning through practice, accountability, and coaching support, ensuring it is immediately put onto the field of play. The addition of 1:1 coaching support can further solidify and ground learning and self-reflection.
Learning Together is Better
Groups that learn together through discussion, demonstration, practice, and application become stronger. They grow together through trusting relationships, learning from each other, and advancing their collective knowledge as a team or cohort. My programs are socialized and human-centered, where the affirming process of team learning is core, and diverse perspectives and experiences benefit everyone.
Meaningful Results
You need impact and value. I start by understanding the change you need to make and work with you to establish measurable and meaningful outcomes against your KPIs. I get that effective learning, which shifts mindsets and behaviours, has a multiplying effect and stands the test of time. I conduct multiple check-ins, mid-program assessments, and surveys, and have ongoing conversations to ensure we are on track, making progress, and driving toward the results you want.
